Module 15 of 15 · Step 1 of 10

Final Beginner Challenge

These projects combine the whole beginner path. Read each task, write a small plan, build one part at a time, and run often. There is no single required style: the checks focus on results and named behaviors.

By the end of this lesson, you can:
  • Plan a small complete program
  • Combine collections, loops, decisions, and functions
  • Check boundaries and output order
  • Explain why the result is correct

Plan before coding

For a multi-step task, list the input, each result you must calculate, and the output order. Solve and run one small part before adding the next. A function can keep a rule separate from a loop.

Pattern
# 1. inspect input
# 2. compute each result
# 3. print in the requested order
Code
values = [-2, 0, 3]
for number in values:
    if number > 0:
        print("Positive")
Output
Positive

Why it works

  1. The list is known input.
  2. The loop visits each value.
  3. The condition chooses which result to show.

Common mistake

Not this
# print a result before calculating it
Try this
# calculate, then print

A clear order makes errors easier to locate.
